Victims of Toxic Mold
Are You A Victim of Toxic Mold?
There are so many out there being affected by mold, toxic and non. Toxic mold is so dangerous yet there is no one who seems to understand the dangers caused by the infestation of toxic mold.
Still, there are those few; the few that have to live with it day in and day out, those people out there being severely affected by toxic mold. Deadly Mold.
In the following paragraph an exerpt from a victim of toxic mold - she tells her story :
We are all across the country. Myself, not having a choice but to live in the nightmare has taken my life to destruction. Landlords have a choice whether to remediate the inhabitable home you had chose to live in.
Landlords did not tell me that I was moving into an unsafe, unhealthy apartment that would turn my life and physical health into destruction. Denial is a serious issue as we all know to well. Why don’t landlord’s have to seek professional help when they are in denial?
They are human just as we are, but are not faced with professionals telling them the toxic mold that you claim is affecting your health does not exist even though proven.

I also have many stories posted in my web site’s forum of tragedies of how people have become ill from these deadly toxins, When are our government officials going to recognize this as a national health crisis. They should talk to us, the mold victim’s, they should live in our home’s for a week (the one’s that are still toxic), experience our illnesses and then ask themselves if they would let themselves, their families or friends live the nightmare.
Open their eyes. I just want my health back, and more than likely will not happen since I am still in the toxic environment, no choice of my own.
I invite all to visit my website, free membership under the forum. Read the true life stories.

Its great to know that!I too live in a mold infested house that i rent month to month there is mold in the basement ,the bathroom ceiling,my bedroom wall (lower corners). I used kills on the bathroom ceiling so far so good. my landlord is going to get someone in here to fix the bedroom ceiling which lost a large amount of plaster from the roof leak which has been fixed a couple weeks ago and the wall. What i would like to know is what are the symptoms ? and what can i do about it? my landlord never mentioned to me that this place has a mold problem, i have been living with this stuff for 6 yrs.

Joslyn on October 22nd, 2007William,
There are many many symptoms that one can experience from mold exposure. I strongly suggest that if you do have mold in your home, have it tested to determine what you are dealing with. I would not suggest waiting to be seen by a physician though, as these illnesses can be quite dangerous from toxic molds.
Once again, I invite all to go to my website where you can read many research articles from experts and also join the forum where I just welcomed an expert toxicologist to my group, Dr. Jack Thrasher Ph.D.
Respectfully,

Karma
Current mood: cynical
I really really hope and I am trying to beleive in Karma, My husband and I bought this really cool house about three years ago, it is about 24 years old and big and unusual, and we thought we were paying a fair price at the time ( market has since dropped), we found a little mold before the closing and the seller, “Patricia Mikes”, was supposed to pay for remediation ( from $6000 to $10000)
Long story shorter, no remediation was ever done, and a fraudulent document was created and presented at closing, this was among 37 other items that were missed by inspector and not disclosed by the seller. Everything from rotted woodburning fireplace, to faulty electrical and plumbing, to broken pool and sprinkler system. This is the real money pit. Within the first two weeks after closing the roof started leaking, the kitchen ceiling fell in, outside lighting and speaker wiring was cut. So $50,000 later we filed a lawsuit naming everyone and their brother, WE are investigators, and we found out they all knew one another, the real estate agents, the seller, the attornies, the home inspector and the fraud perpetrating mold remediation guy. .
So now after three years of being flat busted, depressed and sick, we finally get to the mediation phase of our suit ( you try to work it out before you go to trial), we just really want to get our home fixed and safe. ( and maybe some cosmetic work, like the kitchen brought out of 1987), This was a major fraud and we could be major greedy, but we just want justice. So needless to say the mediation sucked and the Judge ( Retired Monmouth County, named Harold Feldman) was so rude and holier than thow, he was so extremely biased in favor of the defendants it was scary. So we could not agree and we planned on going into court, and deeper in debt. But I just could not help walking out of there , thinking if I just brought some stupid coffee spill or harassment suit, bam bang $1.2 million.
The next evening DYFS ( division of youth and family service for all you non NJ bloggies) shows up at my door stating that someone made a complaint alledging my children were in an unsafe environment with mold. (hmmm, I wonder which defendant made the allegation???), They don’t tell you who it is. They wanted the children out of the house that evening. Our answer to them and everyone else who asks, why don’t you get it fixed and isn’t it dangerous?? Is where do you want us to go????, the average person, especially in NJ can’t afford two mortgages and to maintain two homes.. Please tell people about this situation and tell them to beware dealing with Remax and Diane Turton Real Estate Agents, they are all out for the sale and don’t care who they hurt in the process, and now with the market in the slump, they will slit your throat and watch you bleed out then pick your pocket. The Seller is Patricia Mikes, “formerly DeYonker”, until her husband took up with a younger woman. She has a townhome in Point Pleasant and a apartment in NYC, beware this woman, she will tell you of her poor dead daughter ( from cancer ) while sabbing you in the back. This woman had the audacity to tell the sob story to the NYC Daily news, ( she pitched the story to Asa Arons, the news reporter and obviously the rotton journalist, whom she was alledgedly sleeping with at the time, don’t get me started what a freak she is ) how she was charged soooo much money for mold remediation and she just wanted to make it safe for a nice young couple, blah blah blah, what a peice of garbage. The sellers attorney, Deb Himber, hated her the minute she set foot in the closing, the arrogance oozed off of her. Don’t not use her, you will get in trouble…
Just a friendly reminder, you never get anything for free in this world, and caveat emptore (SP), take care of your own because no one else will, and if there is any God out there at all, please let him beleive in Karma……..
Our health issues are so numerous, from pnuemonia to collapsed lung, to skin rashes, asthma, and on and on..
PS…this is just the super condensed version of the story, there is so much more good stuff.
I am posting this harsh blog sto spread the word that this is a very serious problem and is happening to more people than we even realize.
Kristen Marcus on December 16th, 2007Kristen,
You are so right, this problem never seems to be corrected. I am going to recommend you go onto another site that deals with the wrong doings of insurance companies and the mold issues. I would also contact the owner of the website as she is top notch when it comes to homes, insurance companies, and mold. The site is Policy Holders of America at http://www.policyholdersofamerica.org/
Once again you can also visit my website at http://www.moldenvironment.com
I also have a forum with top notch experts that are members ie toxicologist, fetaltoxicologists, environmental experts from many areas, if you have any questions.
As always, if you need help you can email me through my website at any time.
Take care and God Bless,
