AC turned off for a week by condo board?

Our Florida condo is having some NON emergency roof work done the first week of April. To do this, they must remove all of our air condensors off the roof, thus leaving all the tenants WITHOUT air conditioning.. for an estimated time of at least ONE WEEK, ( if all goes well and weather cooperates )
I’m terrified of mold growing in these conditons, but wonder, can I legally stop this from happening?
