I would recommend you not try to kill mold with ozone.
I did a mold inspection in Lantana Florida and another one in Key West and in both cases the so called remediator tried to kill the mold infestation with ozone, and it did not work.
Also even if the mold does die, now you are left with dead mold and ozone, and guess what, dead mold still causes allergies.
Also ozone is a respiratory irritant, remember Sharper Image stores at the mall? They sell great stuff, but they used to sell a lot of air purifier machines that produced ozone, when the EPA produced a report stating that they do not endorse or recommend machines that produce ozone, Sharper Image stock went down and people stopped buying the machines as much. Such devices are not as popular as they once were.
Also from what I have been told by people who have tried to use it to kill mold, ozone can cause rubber to crack and metal to rust. This makes since to me because ozone is such a strong oxidizer. Sometimes professional mold remediators will use ozone to get rid of mold odors, and I think that is fine, and it can work to get rid of some odors. As long as you get rid of the mold first via conventional and industry standard methods. Also for your own health and safety you do not want to be in the building when ozone is produced at effective odor destroying levels.
The only mold removal method I recommend in most cases is hiring a mold remediator to get rid of the mold and the moldy building materials. They should also clean the area, and clean the air with air filters that are known as air scrubbers.
