Molds are fungi that grow naturally, as well as in structures that are built, and can be found outside on soil, foods, plants etc. Indoors, mold can be found in attics, basements, and bathrooms. It can also occur in other areas if there is a leak in the roof, leaky windows, and leaky pipes.

Live spores that act like seeds form new mold growths (colonies) when they find the right conditions and that is how they multiply at an alarming rate. Spores from mold are tiny and spread easily in air. A combination of moisture, nutrients and a suitable environment will find the growth of mold. Indoor mold growth can be arrested with excess moisture control.
