I’ve had whizzy sounds in my chest for days and it stopped when I worked out, I also have an eye infection. I went to the Dr and got some antibiotics and wrote me OFF work UNPAID for 6 days (am paid by the hour so if I don’t work I don’t get paid) but I discovered a massive build up of mold behind my bed and in my bathroom!! Called the maintenance at the apartment management and they DID not respond! I had to call AGAIN the next day and finally they sent the maintenance team to CUT my wall and try to find where the pipe is leaking from! A few months ago I came back from work and a water sprinkler has broke and it was like a freaking rain in my living room while I was at work so I came back to a soaked house and I had to go stay at my friend’s place for days while they fix it and let it dry for days! The management refused to compensate me!! I can’t believe I’ve been breathing this crap for DAYS if not even weeks!! Now this! I am in Georgia, Mold is a hazard, and I should be able to get damages can’t I? Any idea what I can do? Should I get a lawyer? Thanks so much. Marked as spam
