Disgusting moldy pots and pans

Hi. I let a friends sister stay at my house while I was away for a month. Well, she wasn’t very hygienic and left me with disgusting mold and stuck on food in my stainless steel pots and pans. Every one of them. Some of them I found on my bathroom counter too, so that makes me visualize fecal matter in them to boot. I’ve already thrown out wooden utensils, Tupperware and a cutting board that was affected. I’m not happy and am really not looking forward to scrubbing these pots and pans. They are really really gross. They are all currently soaking in hot soapy water, or at least have hot soapy water in them filled to the top. I can only fit so much in my kitchen sink at one time, I’m trying to alternate them.

My question is, is this even worth it? I honestly got these on sale so they weren’t terribly expensive. Is there a way to completely safely sanitize them? Should I just throw them out and replace them? What would you do? I feel like even after scrubbing, soaking in diluted bleach, washing with soap again and boiling water in them for an hour, I’d still be a little worried or a bit squeamish using them. I’m kind of a nut about food safety since I’ve had food poisoning a couple of different times. Lol. So I’m a little nuts when it comes to things like this. But it’s also because I just don’t know. I don’t know if there’s a sure fire way to completely sanitize them. Thank you for your help.
