Are You A Victim of Toxic Mold?

There are so many out there being affected by mold, toxic and non. Toxic mold is so dangerous yet there is no one who seems to understand the dangers caused by the infestation of toxic mold.

Still, there are those few; the few that have to live with it day in and day out, those people out there being severely affected by toxic mold. Deadly Mold.

In the following paragraph an exerpt from a victim of toxic mold – she tells her story :

We are all across the country. Myself, not having a choice but to live in the nightmare has taken my life to destruction. Landlords have a choice whether to remediate the inhabitable home you had chose to live in.

Landlords did not tell me that I was moving into an unsafe, unhealthy apartment that would turn my life and physical health into destruction. Denial is a serious issue as we all know to well. Why don’t landlord’s have to seek professional help when they are in denial?

They are human just as we are, but are not faced with professionals telling them the toxic mold that you claim is affecting your health does not exist even though proven.

I also have many stories posted in my web site's forum of tragedies of how people have become ill from these deadly toxins, When are our government officials going to recognize this as a national health crisis. They should talk to us, the mold victim's, they should live in our home's for a week (the one's that are still toxic), experience our illnesses and then ask themselves if they would let themselves, their families or friends live the nightmare. Open their eyes. I just want my health back, and more than likely will not happen since I am still in the toxic environment, no choice of my own. I invite all to visit my website, free membership under the forum. Read the true life stories. William, There are many many symptoms that one can experience from mold exposure. I strongly suggest that if you do have mold in your home, have it tested to determine what you are dealing with. I would not suggest waiting to be seen by a physician though, as these illnesses can be quite dangerous from toxic molds. Once again, I invite all to go to my website where you can read many research articles from experts and also join the forum where I just welcomed an expert toxicologist to my group, Dr. Jack Thrasher Ph.D. Respectfully, Darlene Berube Owner/Founder New Name: The Indoor Mold and Environmental Support Group http://www.moldenvironment.com

Kristen, You are so right, this problem never seems to be corrected. I am going to recommend you go onto another site that deals with the wrong doings of insurance companies and the mold issues. I would also contact the owner of the website as she is top notch when it comes to homes, insurance companies, and mold. The site is Policy Holders of America at http://www.policyholdersofamerica.org/
Once again you can also visit my website at http://www.moldenvironment.com I also have a forum with top notch experts that are members ie toxicologist, fetaltoxicologists, environmental experts from many areas, if you have any questions. Kristen: I sympathize with you as my family is living in a very similar situation, except we built a new home. The builder walked away from it without finishing it and there are leaks everywhere. The grinder pump was wired incorrectly, catching fire and flooding basement, so now it is full of mold. Our pets are all sick and dog is dying of cancer. Our 16 yr old formerly healthy daughter has numerous mold poisoning symptoms and all kinds of kinds of allergies, asthma and has to use an inhaler. But doctors say it is difficult to prove it is due to mold, even tho house was inspected and found to have 4 kinds of mold, including the very dangerous black mold. Please feel free to email me--I will be interested to hear of your progress. Good luck

I am 12 weeks pregnant and there is black mold on my bfs ceiling above the bed. He refuses that it's mold, says it's just a water stain and has been there for 6 years without moving. Well I have not been around for 6 years and I haven't really noticed it (I just found out what black mold is) and I'm telling him water stains that are black.. is MOLD! Well anyways he painted it today. Now I'm freaking out. How long will it take for the mold to eat through the paint? I really don't want to put my health and my babies health in risk. By the way, I was born with asthma.

Contact The Environmental Solution posted on this site. They use a safe, non-chemical formula that actually improves air quality, at the same cost as harmful chemical remediation. Remember that MOLD KILLS. Find out about how to test if symptoms are from mycotoxin/toxigenic mold exposure. Only drs who specialize in this know how to treat it. As far as I know, there are only about 6 in the country. Check out my website at http://www.areyoumoldy.com for more info.

If you see mold you should remove it right away. Do not take any chances with mold. If it comes back then you need to call someone to see where the mold is coming from, but try to remove it first yourself and save your self some money.

I am now living in a condo where i once lived 9 years ago with my family. My family has been living at this condominuim complex for over 20 years and a new landlord arrived before I moved in. I was aware that the very same condo that I am living in now is in fact the same condo that a man died from mold right before we moved in. Now our landlord is trying to kick us out because a dog we watched ate part of the bedroom door. We are offering to pay for the damages (even though we already have) and fix it ourselves. But if there is mold in the condo still then they must be aware of the situation that has happened before we moved in. If that is the case I need to know for sure all of the symptoms I am having are mold related or not. Also is there any way for us to check for mold or do we need an expert?

WoW! what an unbelievable story... Sorry almost unbelievable. I believe it. Its too bad that their is no longer concern for others in this world, by anyone in the game of buying & selling. Making money seems to be the only goal. Unfortuanitly it dosent stop when the market is good either. In my opinion, Every one needs to go to a course of some sort before they buy a house. Don't rely on just the inspectors. Even on new construction they fudge reports for the almighty buck.. You know they one they will pass if they get caught :) Fortunately my husband & I are knowledgable in most areas of building & construction., but even we can get sloppy & overlook things. Get Two opinions, & make sure they do not know each other. Even in a court case If one Lawyer or Judge has a fault... Another will not dispute it. There kinsmen you know and will not squeal on another. Know the county in which you are buying & the codes, Know what is acceptable & not. Know what documents are necessary & do not rely only on your builder to obtain them (demand to see them yourself). Take a measuring tape with you when the inspector is looking at your house. Know what questions to ask him, & follow him looking at everything he does & making your own notes. If your building a home, be there when the inspectors are to hear what he is telling the builders.

I am a victim of mold. I am 35 years old. My symptoms started on 7/24/2011. It started out with severe diarrhea and then the hives covered my body. Dermagraphia to be exact. I have had every test known to man and woman. ALL doctors have said I am a "Medical Mystery". By August 2011 I was having vision problems/blurred vision, cold hands and feet, tingling hand and feet/pins and needles, headaches, fatigue, anxiety attacks, uncontrollable crying and feeling of doom, faint feeling, dizzy, plus daily dirrhea now and severe loss of appetite and weight loss. Finally my husband came across the black mold in our basement and in our kitchen trash can. We immediately threw out the kitchen trash can and called in a Mold Testing Company. Sure enough - Black Mold. Scary thing is - is that the black mold could have been there for YEARS and we never knew it. The mold spores are directly next to our air system too so the spores were blowing through our home. Needless to say they cleaned out our entire basement and did a proper removal. Then they did a mold spore air cleaner on the entire house. It took 3 full days for the entire process. Entire family and pets all left the home to the professionals to clean. I can say now happily in late October that I have my health back! I am slowly but surely getting stronger and improving daily. I will continue to treat with my allergist. I can say that if it weren't for my husband discovering the mold I could have died. NO one could find an answer. UNTIL the mold was found. Now all doctors know the allergic reaction I was having and I will share my story with EVERYONE. Check your basements, your trashcans...everywhere. My basement was and is a dry basement and STILL had a mold issue. Check those kitchen trashcans too. Don't assume all is well. I am a CLEAN freak and I still had a little mold in the lower corner and yes it was toxix. Be proactive and check your homes. It is your HEALTH!

I have developed a procedure for detoxing that can reduce mold toxin in your body using onle essential oils. The procedure is all natural and is even safe for children. Please see my website for a complete explanation I will respond to any questions via email Thank you Dr Erin Petrauskas
dR.Dr.Erin Petrauskas February 28, 2013 - 2:29 pm
I do not believe that mold causes asthma however mold toxins in the body cause cause asthma like symptoms. I know this because i have treated patients with asthma like symptoms and when the detox was complete the patients asthma like vsymptoms are gone.
dR.Dr.Erin Petrauskas February 28, 2013 - 2:40 pm
I would like to give my explanation on why people have a hard time ridding themselves of yeast. Almost 95% of yeast infections begin with mold exposure. The doctors try to treat the yeast infection without treating the mold toxins that entered the body during the mold exposure. The symptoms are very similar. Since the treatment for yeast/candida does not remove mold toxins the treatment fails fails. The yeast/candida/ mold toxins must be removed together to be successful.. Essential oil detox is capable of removing both together.

I wrote a book intended to provide understanding, and help people with toxic mold concern. ('Political Mold') It focuses on it's devastating impacts, residual effects and the masonry perspectives associated with what I term CMC. (Consequential Mold Concern) What I understand of toxic mold exposure, I would not even wish on the people imposing it on others, and deny their accountability towards it. 'Power Players' take various legal measures in the protection their interests from it, and moderate, nominalize and even avoid due accountability. The system protects its own, and as I have learned; without legitimate legislated guidance's. Money, power and politics control CMC resolve; as it does with a multitude of other issues. I have worked within the IAQ (indoor air quality) / safety and health industry for most of my professional career, and I have seen true CMC cover ups. Mold colonies painted over, cracked foundations parged but not fixed, and flowers and fresh cooked apple pie utilized to mask the rancid odor of mold's MVOC's (Microbial Volatile Organic Compounds) expelled by a hidden yet viable mold colony. Institutionally associated CMC is the prime reason why complete legislations do not exist. After all, the system is not going to blow the CMC whistle on itself. Society's only CMC recourse is tackling it from within our homes, and through solidarity effect legitimate resolve and suitable laws and legislations. Yes, there are measures happening within this realm, though they are merely topical treatments on a traumatic situation, which requires further legislative indulgences. In my opinion CMC will be neglected as long as the system is able to hold back public pressure, and given the small percentage driving towards CMC reform; many will experience CMC hardship in the years to come. My book reveals the masonry control and methodology used in CMC disassociation, as well as viable measures and means CMC victims need to serve their best interests. Presently, we are truly on our own when we or our loved one's are burdened and/or sickened through CMC. My book 'Political Mold' is being released through my publisher on September 25th, 2014. I will forward more details about the books release as they become available. I understand and sympathize with the people who have felt CMC ravages. Their pain and suffrage ignored, neglected and denied, causing lifelong conditionings. They all deserve legitimate recognition, resolve and restitution for their imposed plight. The following is a short entry from my book.... Hiding CMC within residences, businesses, institutions, social complexes, buses, boats, planes, trains & automobiles, which sicken, maim, and martyr people through blatant neglect, ignorance or incompetence. Is deserving of persecution up to and including first degree murder, and those aiding them are accessories to the action. Offenders knowingly hiding or disassociating a CMC risk, which attributes to someone’s death, has essentially and deliberately used the same mental process of someone planning to do harm or worse to someone. ‘The only difference is the smoking gun’ Please feel free in contacting me for any relevant reason. Best, Wayne

I am a single mom with three children, my husband left us and barley pays child support. We lived in the best place I could afford. I then found out the apartment was mold infested. I got sick and all the kids were sick. All of us had chronic fatigue, my youngest had nose bleeds all of the time, headaches, memory loss, it was a nightmare. The pediatrician told me mold can’t make the kids sick. I was losing my mind. The kids were sick and I had no answers, the doctors had no answers. My neighbor who’s a nurse came over and told me it was the mold in the apartment making us all sick. I went to the blogs and found some good comments on the National Treatment centers for Environmental disease in Atlanta GA. I called and they accepted our insurance. It’s been 4 months and all of us are a lot better. If your kids are sick and no one is sure you may want to get them tested for mold. These people saved our lives. When no one had an answer they saved my children. This was a life changing event. Special thanks to Dr. Eric, Dr. Michael and Dr. Weekly and the staff at NTCED!

I have a friend who lives in PA. Her family have all been exposed since 2012. Corrupt attorneys, Weatherization program that sent an incompetent contractor (this was the cause for mold invasion), and an insurance company that lies about coverage...and this is just the tip of the iceberg. This woman has left no stone unturned - seemingly - in her quest to get some kind of closure on this. I'm helping her and her family as best as I know.

Indeed, toxic or toxigenic molds produce chemicals that are poisonous to humans and animals. Also known as mycotoxins, toxic molds are produced by fungal spores. It causes temporary skin irritation to serious, long-term illnesses such as immunosuppression, cancer or neurological disorders. You may suffer from allergic reactions and respiratory problems. Penicillin is also found on some mold which causes health problems. I live in Arizona and am allergic to several molds which my allergist found out. It was some time back when I had my whole-house fan turned on one evening. I sat in front of a window that was letting in the heavy stream of night stormy air. After which I found out, mold infestation in my home and immediately called upon Titan’s mold remediation services. If you find toxic mold in your home, do not attempt to clean it up yourself. Contact a mold remediation and restoration or water restoration professional to ensure that the mold is removed safely and effectively.

so you want to get rid of the mold. Look I can't cure you....but getting rid of mold is not so hard. There is a product called Bora Care. This stuff has a price, but worth every penny. The product is a mix of Boric Acid, Another Boron molecule, and an anti freeze type of Glycol. This glycol penetrates paint and wood. It takes the Boron molecules into the material and the mold dies. The boron molecules stay there however, and will stay there forever. The mold will not come back. I do believe it is effective for most molds because mold likes a pH of between 3 and 7 ....but this stuff is around pH 9 and that sort of environment does not suit mold well at all. Give it a try. P.S. you can paint or spray or use a sponge to apply ....let it dry....and then the mold which is visible can be swept off or brushed off....and if it suits you ...you can paint the material again so you don't see any left over marks.
