How long before testing for a mold colony

Am moving into a new apt, move in date been pushed back 10 days due to a water line break. Discussed the clean up process with apt manager they are doing due to a basic understanding of mold. They seem to meet my expectations(all carpet and pad removed drying of apt and openings in wall to dry inside(appropriate contractor doing the work), but will check up a time or 2 over the next week. If I end up choosing to move in after the clean up, how long do I give a potential mold colony to manifest before I do a test for mold to ensure my health. BTW, mold is an appropriate reason for voiding a lease in TX should I find a problem.
