Mold in the mattress?

Boought a cabin at lake. Previous people had a piece of carpet on the cement slab of the garage with a bed in there. Smelled real moldy so we picked up carpet and saw what looks like black mold on cement floor. Does that mean the mattress has it too? The mattress seems good. How can I know if there is mold in mattress?
