Hi, I recently unearthed some clothes from a broken washing machine…

…the clothes in question had been there for several months, and were very mouldy, one pair of trousers having effectively fallen to pieces. I salvaged some of them, and washed them. I am afraid that I have now contaminated the washing machine, and have not used it for some weeks. Does hot water kill mould/spores? How long do they live? I have some white malt vinegar, should I add some to the machine? Is it safe to wear the clothes, use the machine> Thank you. Carl.
