Donald in Washington, DC

by krystle

I have been informed that the Patricia Handy Women’s Shelter located in Washington, DC. The shelter which used to be a men’s shelter for years prior; houses approximately 60 or so homeless women. It has been brought to my attention that this very old building has a severe case of black mold throughout. I would like action to taken to have the shelter tested for black mold or other types of mold which could be harmful to the women residing in this shelter. I don’t know as of yet how to initiate this action but I am reporting this concern to the Washington, DC Department of Health and to Mayor Muriel Bowser’s office in the very near future.
