I used oregano, tea tree and lavender mixed with water in a spray bottle and it completely got rid of the mold in my car. There a was leak under the carpet – I pulled up the carpet and soaked the areas then allowed them to dry. ALSO – there is a product thats sold at most fred meyer, cabellas, gi-joes, big-5 (maybe) that is a SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED TO ABSORB MOISTURE – They are a tiny white beads which can be placed in a bowl under a seat and they absorb all moisture in the car. And they are less than 4 dollars.

Some of you may have heard of this product, it is called Odo-ban. It is sold at home improvement stores like Home Depot and Lowe’s. It has worked for me to remove mold and improve the smell of clothes that have been subjected to mold and mildew. It is reasonably priced ;a gallon only cost me about 10 dollars and you only use a little bit at a time. It is worth a try for those of you looking for a cleaning product. It was recommended to me by a professional cleaner.
